An 81-year-old man was found dead in Blata l-Bajda on Wednesday afternoon.

The police said the man lived in Floriana. His body was found at National Road shortly before 4pm.

The man was reported missing on Tuesday.

There were no signs of foul play, but a magisterial inquiry has been called. The police are investigating.
