A magistrate yesterday dismissed 29 electoral applications filed by the Labour Party and upheld nine during a sitting in which 109 applications were scheduled to be heard.

During the sitting, presided over by Magistrate Tonio Micallef Trigona, the MLP withdrew 63 applications while the remaining eight were put off to March 10.
