More electoral candidates throw hat in ring
Electoral Commission publishes names of candidates who submitted nominations on Saturday morning
Nineteen nominations were submitted by general election candidates on Saturday.
The Electoral Commission said the nominations were submitted between 9am and 1pm.

Submission of a nomination expires at 7pm on May 11.
When applying online, candidates must ensure that the submission process is finalised before 7pm on May 11.
Candidates submitting the nomination personally must ensure that they are present at the Office of the Electoral Commission in Naxxar by this same deadline.
