A supposed pile of Elvis Presley's hair has sold for $18,300 dollars in an auction in Chicago. The hair is believed to have been snipped from Presley when he joined the U.S. Army in 1958.
Another celebrity auction also raked in the bucks - this one from Barbra Streisand. The Beverly Hills auction of her items - which ranged from furniture and knick-knacks to costumes and gowns - brought in more than 600,000 dollars. One of the sales highlights was the much anticipated letter "A," a symbol of her removing the "A" from her original name. Originally estimated at $200-300 dollars, it sold for more than $8,700.
