Multiple award-winning singer-songwriter to perform at MFCC, Ta' Qali on April 30
Multiple award-winning singer-songwriter Emeli Sandé will be performing at Rock Vision 2050 at the MFCC, Ta' Qali, on April 30.
Sandé, known for her powerful vocals and introspective songwriting, rose to prominence with her debut album Our Version of Events, which became one of the UK’s best-selling albums in recent decades. Her repertoire includes popular tracks such as Next to Me, Read All About It, and Clown.
Over the years, the Scottish singer has received multiple awards and performed at major international events, including the London 2012 Olympic Games ceremonies.
Her appearance marks her first public concert in Malta.
Rock Vision 2050 is a concept-driven production exploring the future of rock music, combining traditional elements of the genre with more contemporary and experimental sounds.
The show is led by musical director Kevin Abela and music producer Elton Zarb, and will feature a number of Maltese performers, including Destiny, Kenneth Calleja, Ozzy Lino, Martina Borg and Mikaela Attard. The event is being produced by BLS Entertainment.
Part of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to Caritas to support its community work.
The concert forms part of the wider Fusion Festival, which will continue on May 1 with a performance by British singer-songwriter James Morrison.
Discounted ticket packages are being offered for those attending both events.
