Emergency staff at Notte Magica

In response to the excellent article (January 9) detailing the extensive emergency support provided by the various rescue agencies at Notte Magica held in Valletta, we would like to draw attention to a possible oversight in not mentioning the very valid support provided by the emergency nurse team who were also on site and certainly a major factor in making the whole evening a safer event. The emergency nurse team provides the backbone of medical coverage at similar events throughout the year and their input in unison with the emergency response medical team (ERT) and all the other various agencies consolidate the team approach to pre-hospital emergency care in response to emergencies.
