Employee of the year

Joanne Formosa, employee of the year at Le Meridien Phoenicia, Malta, travelled to London to celebrate with 140 other employees chosen from over 60 countries.

Le Meridien Hotels and Resorts recently organised the annual awards ceremony for the Employees Of The Year from all their hotels worldwide.

Joanne received her award for her total commitment towards her work in the accounts department, and her enthusiasm for her role on the staff social committee, which organises regular events for all the staff, hotel general manager Ben Sington said.

Joanne and all the other winners spent four days in London staying at the famous Le Meridien Grosvenor House.

Joanne became the sixth winner of Employee of the Year award since the Phoenicia joined Le Meridien Hotels and Resorts.
