Enemalta Corporation and the Enemalta Professional Officers Union have signed a new collective agreement valid until December 2010.

The agreement was reached after cordial negotiations between the collective bargaining unit, management and union representatives. The agreement includes a comprehensive review of current working practices, the introduction of a number of family-friendly measures, as well as an improvement in salaries and other conditions.

Enemalta chairman Alex Tranter said the agreement reflected the high level of professionalism Enemalta's engineers have now attained.
