The General Workers' Union and the Enemalta Corporation have reversed their decisions on two employees who were suspended, in what the union had said was a breach of the collective agreement.

On Wednesday, the union declared an industrial dispute after two employees were suspended until they agreed to instructions from the corporation's management to report for work in new offices.

However, the two parties agreed to withdraw their decisions yesterday morning.

The corporation also agreed to transfer its credit control unit, including the two employees, to a new company that is yet to be set up by no later than the end of the month, and guaranteed that all employees will remain part of the unit.
