Matthew Craig Bryan Fenn, 23, of Telford, UK, was yesterday accused before Magistrate Consuelo Scerri Herrera of causing grievous injuries to Peter Joseph Camilleri.

Camilleri was certified by Dr Jonathan Joslin to be suffering injuries caused with a cutting and pointed instrument when he was treated at the Casualty Department at St Luke's Hospital.

Fenn, who was also accused by Police Inspector Joseph Mercieca of wilfully disturbing public order and public peace, was granted bail on a deposit of Lm400 and a personal guarantee of Lm1,000.
