The Friends of the Sick and the Elderly (FSEG) recently donated equipment to the Gozo General Hospital. This included a patient lifter for St Anne's Residence, interferential and suction units for physiotherapy, a patient controlled syringe pump for CCU and a fax, photocopier, scanner and printer for the retail unit. A number of safety vests, for the use of the personnel in the Ambulance First Aid Service, were also given to the Emergency Department, courtesy of Chris Galea, committee member of FSEG. FSEG chairman Dr John B. Pace is here seen making the donation to Minister Giovanna Debono.
