The Employment and Training Centre in Gozo recently organised a day of activities dedicated to youth employment with the aim of helping youths in their search for employment and career development.

Various gazebos were set up at St George’s Square, Victoria, where youths participated and interacted with the people offering employment opportunities, advice and guidance.

Workshops related to different subjects were held, including water management, the hospitality industry, waste management, career guidance, and psychological and occupational therapy services.

The Institute of Tourism Studies’ gazebo featured a ‘cooking experience’. Joseph Tabone and George Sultana briefed students on subjects related to tourism.

Reading and leisure corners were set up, sports people and coaches visited, while artists, writers and illustrators also took part.

The day was concluded with a concert by Chasing Pandora.
