Euroguidance
Link to studying and working opportunities
Euroguidance Malta is a new service which falls within the framework of the European Union Vocational Training Action Programme, Leonardo da Vinci. It forms part of a network of information resource centres operating from 31 European countries.
The main aim of Euroguidance is to facilitate mobility throughout Europe, by providing people in initial vocational training or lifelong learning with relevant information regarding study, training and work opportunities around Europe.
It operates by forming a contact network for the guidance services of Europe and exchanging careers information between national and European guidance services.
During the last two months Euroguidance has received a good number of requests from individuals, mainly students following courses at the Univeresity of Malta and MCAST. Other requests came from foreign students studying in foreign educational institutions and from workers who are interested in continuing their training in their respective area.
The Euroguidance network provides Internet users with a very important tool, which focuses on the search for learning opportunities around Europe. PLOTEUS - the Portal on Learning Opportunities throughout the European Space, provides a selection of links to colleges, universities and other educational institutions around Europe. These links and their descriptions are provided and kept up to date by the Euroguidance network.
