European City Guide - scam industry

I had informed some 'concerned' traders that I would carry this piece last Sunday but unfortunately we did not have enough space for it. Indeed, I am still receiving letters and e messages from traders who are concerned about receiving bills, reminders and threats from the European City Guide. Although this is a consumers' column we still look after traders and we cover this issue regularly in this column - most recently on March 21.

I appeal to traders, who are worried, to visit the Website www.stopecg.org. Indeed, when it comes to such scams, we must work together and change the negative aspect of such issues into a positive aspect with a view to enhancing our marketplace on the basis of a better rapport between consumers and traders.
