Former Sea Malta chairman Marlene Mizzi yesterday filed a libel suit against Information Technology and Investments Minister Austin Gatt in which she claimed that comments he made during an interview were libellous and defamatory.

Ms Mizzi filed the suit in the Magistrates' Court over the comments made by Dr Gatt in an interview entitled No Prospects For National Shipping Line, published in The Times' July 1 issue.

Lawyer Tony Abela signed the suit.
