Last year was an exceptional one for Toly Products in the French market.

Having opened a sales office in the centre of Paris in 1987, last year the French market became Toly`s largest single market for its products made in Malta, the company said yesterday.

Recently, three new products were launched, using Toly`s components: a new fragrance for Orlane, Be21; a new compact for Lancaster, and a whole colour line for Guinot, Masters Colors.

Toly Products have been in Malta since 1970 and today, the company has a workforce of over 540 people, focusing upon luxury packaging for the beauty industry.

With sales organisations in London, New York, Paris and Belgium, Toly is one of the market leaders in luxury packaging for many international cosmetic brands.

According to Andy Gatesy, chairman and chief executive officer, Malta has a number of world-class manufacturers who are able to compete on an international basis, "utilising the strengths of a highly committed, intelligent and flexible Maltese workforce".
