Many localities spent an hour and 15 minutes without electricity this afternoon after a boiler tripped at Marsa power station.
Following the intervention ofEnemalta technicians and engineers, power started to be restored and some localities had their electricity back by 4.50 p.m. Power was restored to every locality by 5.30 p.m., Enemalta said.
However, readers from Msida told timesofmalta.com at around 6 p.m. that they were still without electricity. But Enemalta clarified that the power cuts at Msida were due to a separate fault.
The corporation apologised for the inconvenience.
