Façade restoration completed

The Valletta Rehabilitation Project of the Ministry for Resources and Infrastructure has completed the restoration of the façade of the parish house attached to Our Lady of Victory church, in Valletta.

The project, executed under the direction of architect Amanda Degiovanni, is part of a long term plan of the VRP for the restoration of the church itself.

The next phase will be the restoration of the church's façade.

The work will be done with financial assistance from Pricewaterhousecoopers and in collaboration with Din l-Art Helwa.

The restoration of the bronze statue of the façade has also been completed. This part of the project was conducted by Sante Guido and financed by the VRP.

Other restoration projects on the interior of the church will be continued next year, the VRP said.
