Farewell

I would like to show my appreciation for all the help and support I received from French Ambassador Patrick Chrismant during his term in Malta.

Mr Chrismant was not only someone I worked with, but rather a friend. Unfortunately, his posting as Ambassador has come to an end and he will be serving his country elsewhere.

With his departure Malta will not only be losing an exemplary ambassador but someone who had Malta so much at heart that he not only made himself knowledgeable of Malta's history and culture but also participated fully in our Maltese way of life.

I take this opportunity to wish Mr Chrismant and his staff further success in his future endeavours elsewhere, knowing that although he will be physically leaving Malta, his friendship will remain
