The electricity supply was interrupted in parts of Birzebbuga, Marsaxlokk and Zejtun due to three distribution faults in the early hours of yesterday morning, Enemalta said.

A cable fault has now been isolated, a faulty overhead line was repaired and an intermittent cable fault was yesterday under investigation.

Electricity was restored to most of the affected areas by 11.43 a.m. and the corporation said it was doing its best to give power back to the rest as soon as possible.
