The feast of Our Lady of Mercy at Qrendi is being celebrated next weekend.

A Marian pilgrimage from Qrendi parish church to Our Lady's Sanctuary starts at 6 p.m. followed by sung Mass.

A Lejla Maltija, organised by Lourdes Band Club, will be held on Saturday from 8 p.m. with the best Maltese singers taking part.

Mass will be celebrated at the sanctuary at 8 a.m. on Sunday, followed by horse and donkey races in Tempest Street.

A sung Mass will be celebrated at 5 p.m., followed by a fair in the square in front of the sanctuary.
