On May 11, a Mass was held in honour of St George Preca at St Paul the Apostle parish church in Kingston, Canada. This was the first liturgical feast following the June 3, 2007 canonisation. During the Mass, a portrait of Saint George Preca was presented by Fr Leo Byrne Pastor of the Church in Kingston to Tony Vella, a relative of St George who lives in Kignston.
