Ferry tickets now from Cirkewwa

Gozo Channel customers will temporarily have to buy their tickets from Cirkewwa as from Tuesday due to works on the passenger terminal at Mgarr, Gozo, the company said.

Through this measure, passengers and vehicles at Mgarr will queue and board without the need to have tickets validated.

At Cirkewwa, tickets have to be purchased for passengers and vehicles and these have to be validated, as is currently done at Mgarr.

The company said that due to the shift of the ticketing system, the Gozo by Night scheme, which used to offer incentives for customers travelling to and returning from Gozo on the same evening, is to be discontinued until a logistical solution to restarting it is found.
