Transport Malta has announced traffic closures at Gzira seafront this weekend because of the feast of Our Lady of Mt Carmel.

The seafront will be closed for traffic tomorrow between 10pm and 1am; on Saturday between 8pm and 1am and on Sunday between 1.30pm and 4 pm and between 8pm and midnight.

Vehicles coming from Msida should proceed through Mikiel Anton Vassalli Street (the regional road) to avoid Sliema centre, TM said.

Buses will proceed along Ta’Xbiex seafront, Testaferrata Street and Rue D’Argens.
