ALIENS VS PREDATOR: REQUIEM
sci-fi

The film captures the magic of the Alien vs Predator comics, novels and videogames that established the "AVP" brand - while paying homage to the hallmarks of the film series that preceded it: Ridley Scott's seminal work of science fiction and horror, Alien; James Cameron's masterpiece of intense action, Aliens; and John McTiernan's thriller about an extra-terrestrial warrior wreaking havoc in the jungle, Predator. At the same time AVP-R introduces an intriguing element new to the franchise, by having the Aliens and Predator wage war in a small American town. Bringing these elements together are director brothers Colin and Greg Strause, whose visual effects house, Hydraulx, is renowned for its computer-generated wizardry on films such as 300, X-Men: The Last Stand, and Fantastic Four. The Aliens (and a Predator) have landed on earth, and small town America is about to become the scene of an epic interstellar showdown. As these two breeds of cosmic killers clash in the small-town streets of Gunnison, Colorado, the locals are sent running for their lives.

From the murky sewers to the rain-soaked streets, Gunnison has become a total bloodbath. Nowhere is safe, especially from the unstoppable new hybrid known as the "Predalien". Now, as the once-quiet community of Gunnison is overrun by Aliens, the only hope for mankind is a fierce hunter from the deepest reaches of space. But this Predator is far from a benevolent saviour of the human race, because he'll kill any man, woman, or child who gets in the way of his mission to destroy every last Alien under these stormy Colorado skies.

DAN IN REAL LIFE
comedy

Love strikes in the worst possible circumstances for widower, single dad and popular family advice columnist Dan Burns (Steve Carell) when he falls for a beautiful stranger (Juliette Binoche) in a bookshop; only to discover she's the very same woman his charismatic brother (Dane Cook) is about to introduce as his incredible new girlfriend at their parents' annual get-together. As the weekend gets underway, Dan and Marie scramble to hide their mutual attraction to each other, resulting in a series of hilariously awkward situations. Yet, even under those circumstances, they can't help falling in love. Now, Dan is about to realise that, no matter how many good suggestions he might have for other people, when it comes to romance and family, the hardest advice for a man to follow is his own.

DAYS OF GLORY
drama

1943. They'd never set foot on French soil, but during World War II, four North African men - Saïd, Abdelkader, Messaoud and Yassir - along with 130,000 other "natives" enlisted in the French Army to free "the motherland" from the Nazis.

These heroes, forgotten by history, found victory in Provence and in the Vosges before finding themselves on their own to defend an Alsatian village against a German battalion.

THE LAST LEGION
action

During the fall of the Roman Empire, its last emperor, 12-year-old Romulus Augustus (Thomas Sangster), rules for a day before losing all that he loves: His family, his home and an empire that once stood for truth and honour. Imprisoned on the island-fortress of Capri, Romulus, aided by the clever strategies of his teacher Abrosinus (Ben Kingsley) and the heroic skills of his legionnaire Aurelius (Colin Firth), escapes the island.

Accompanied by his friends and a mysterious envoy from Constantinople, Romulus travels to Britannia in search of the Last Legion - the fabled Dragon Legion. There, Romulus will fight alongside his friends to make his last stand for Rome, and take his first steps to becoming the man and the king who started the Arthurian legend.
