Fire breaks out at Bisazza Street shop in Sliema, neighbours evacuated
No one was injured
A fire broke out on Tuesday morning at a shop on Bisazza Street, Sliema.
Civil Protection Department (CPD) crews were called out at 8am to Kitchen Artistry, a home goods store located in the middle of the busy street.
“The fire was quite bad,” a spokesperson for CPD said. No one was injured.
Residents of the flats above the store were evacuated as a precaution until the fire was brought under control. They were later allowed back to their residences.
