The International Safety Training Centre Ltd (ISTC), a member of the Alberta Group has appointed Mark Norman as its operations manager.

Having joined Richard Sizers Engineering upon completion of his engineering studies a the Humberside Engineering Training College and Hull College, Mr Norman gained practical experience with Stelrad, UK.

In 1987 he joined the Humberside Fire Brigade where he was assigned to operational urban, rural, industrial and maritime fire fighting duties.

ISTC provides consultancy services solutions to fire and safety-related issues such as risk analysis and contingency plans. It also assists in setting up company safety programmes, implementing safety policies and offers a wide range of standard training courses.
