The first of two nights of the Fireworks Festival on Saturday night had a fantastic finale, in contrast to the unimpressive and unimaginative display which preceded it before the sky was lit up by the huge colourful burst at the end. The festival's final night yesterday brought to an end the celebrations marking Malta's accession to the European Union.
