A container full of blankets today left the Civil Protection Department in Marsa for Haiti.

This is Malta’s first container to the earthquake stricken country. More are expected to follow after charity organisations in Haiti requested more food last night.

Malta’s container is being shipped to Caucedo in the Dominican Republic from where it will then be taken to Port-au-Prince.
