First it was planking. Now it's Owling.
Facebook was two months ago taken by storm as young people resorted to planking - posing face down in unusual, often dangerous locations - and uploading their pictures on the internet.
The trend now is Owling, where young people post pictures of themselves squatting and staring into the distance, much like owls.
The craze has spread like wildfire from the US to Europe and Australia. No one knows where it started, but Dario Genovese, who has followed its spread, says Malta was among the first to catch on.
He said a facebook page on Owling which he and his friends had created was one of the first and preceded most overseas pages devoted to the new craze...
