Aloysians Prominent 16
\nIn a breathtaking match from the men's league, La Salle kept their unbeaten record intact as they staved off Aloysians' strong opposition to chalk up their fifth win. Aloysians tried every option they could to keep up with La Salle but Alan Grima's men were better on the day.
La Salle started off well but Aloysians always kept within sight of their opponents. The interval saw both teams locked at seven-all.
The second half had an electrifying pace as the ball was constantly on the move. La Salle hit a good 5-0 run that paved the way to their victory.
Aloysians kept calm and tried to get back into the game. However, there was no passing round La Salle's rock solid defence.
The final five-goal difference seems to be somewhat harsh on Aloysians but La Salle deserved their win as they were consistent throughout the whole match.
Best player: Andrew Said (La Salle).
