Various attractions in Floriana will be open to the public on Sunday in an activity being organised by the local council called "Genna ta' Gonna...u hafna aktar".

Mayor Nigel Holland said that all of the locality's gardens will be open, as well as museums, historic buildings and sites, with guided tours being held every two hours in most of them.

Among the sites to be opened are the private areas of Argotti Gardens, the vaults of the Capuchin Holy Cross Church and the Church museum, and MiddleSea House.

At St Publius Church, visitors will be able to climb to the top of one of the bell towers.

Also open for viewing (between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.) will be the Crime Museum and the emergency operating theatres set up during the war in a shelter beneath police headquarters (which was a hospital at the time).

Also open will be Msida Bastion Cemetery, Sarria Church and Wignacourt Tower.

All attractions will be open between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., unless otherwise indicated.

The In Guardia re-enactment will be held at The Mall at 1 pm.

The Mithras Swrod Fight Club will give displays at St Publius Hall between Noon and 4 p.m. while a talk on the armour of the Knights will be held in the same hall at 5 p.m.

An art exhibition by Franco Navarro and Angelo Sammut will be held at the offices of the local council.
