FOI participation at ETC workshop

On Monday the FOI took part through its administration manager John B. Scicluna in a workshop organised by the Employment and Training Corporation.

Stakeholders were presented with a draft report on Human Resources Development Policy and Strategy for Malta: 2003-2006, that sought to draw up a national strategy for the development of Malta's human resources.

The report was drawn up by a working committee, chaired by Professor Edward L. Zammit and included members from both the public and the private sector.

Mr Scicluna and many of the other stakeholders participating in the workshop gave the ETC their initial reactions to the report and it was agreed that comments in writing could be submitted until next Tuesday, after which the document would be finalised and submitted to the government.
