Food courier injured in Mġarr accident

He lost control of his motorcycle

A food courier was seriously injured when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed at Mosta Road, Mġarr, late on Sunday.

The police said the 33-year-old Indian national, a resident in San Ġwann fell off his motorcycle at about 7pm.

He was given first aid by an ambulance crew and hospitalised in a serious condition. 

It was the second serious incident involving a food courier on Sunday. Earlier in the day, a Nepalese courier died when his motorcycle was hit by a car driven by an underage motorist in Sta Venera.
