Congratulations to all concerned for the unbelievable and phenomenal success achieved by the L-Istrina team to raise money for national charitable causes. This same organisation was last year branded as being political by Alfred Sant, the leader of the Labour Party.

Dr Sant must be looking at this result, and if his statement last year was correct - and this organisation is really politically orientated - he is now a very worried man, hoping that these figures of Lm900,000 raised by L-Istrina, and the Lm44,000 raised by the fund-raising activity organised by the Labour Party TV station Super One, are not reflected or translated into votes in the next general election!
