Brazilian striker Felipe Anderson told reporters he has no interest in leaving Lazio in summer to join Manchester United in the English Premier League.

Anderson was reportedly the subject of a €50m offer from United lately but the player rubbished the rumours.

The 22-year-old said: “In 2012 I had the chance to join Lazio and that became the objective in 2013, that was my dream to play for Lazio.

“Future? I am staying here. My heart and mind are both here, I am thinking only of Lazio.”

UEFA stops website selling Euro tickets

UEFA has taken legal action in France to prevent a website from offering tickets for this year’s European Championship.

A French court has granted UEFA an order against guaranteetickets.com, ordering it to stop selling tickets to the matches and not to use UEFA trademarks.

Akirma Ventures Limited, the company behind the site, will be fined €1,000 for each day it fails to comply.

Eto’o payment problems resolved

Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero, famous for his outbursts, preferred to stay silent following reports that contract disagreements with Samuel Eto’o have been resolved.

The Cameroonian, now playing in Turkey, yesterday accused the Serie A club of defaulting on their payments, but lawyer Antonio Romei later dismissed all of the player’s claims.

“The contract was perfectly resolved,” said Romei.

“I have all the paperwork. If anything, it’s Sampdoria who lost €100,000 when they paid Everton to have him come in six months early.

“I don’t know why he’s saying these things. He was the one who was in a hurry to leave and go to Turkey.”

Eto’o joined Turkish top-flight side Antalyaspor last summer.

Injured Shaw still in Hodgson’s plans

Luke Shaw is making good progress from a double leg break and England manager Roy Hodgson hopes Manchester United will allow the left-back to prove his fitness before Euro 2016.

An exceptional start to the season at Old Trafford was cruelly halted by an horrific injury during September’s Champions League clash at PSV Eindhoven.

Few expected to see the 20-year-old again this season but his progress has been impressive, making Hodgson hopeful of having him available for Euro 2016.

“Yeah, absolutely (the door is open),” the England boss said.

“Luke is a player we believe in, we think he’s an excellent talent. He will be a major competitor with the other left-backs for a place in the squad.”

Hodgson will announce his final list for France on May 12.

Swansea are almost safe says Guidolin

Francesco Guidolin said Swansea’s relegation fears were “nearly finished” after watching his side scrap their way to a precious 1-0 victory over Aston Villa last weekend.

It was far from a vintage performance but Swansea are now within touching distance of securing another season of top-flight football.

“It is my first home win and maybe this is the most important victory of the season,” said Guidolin, who was back in the dugout after missing three matches with a chest infection.

“But in the future the club, and everyone involved, need to make sure we are not in this situation again. It is nearly finished, but not quite.”

Mancini still eyeing Serie A podium

Inter boss Roberto Mancini refused to give up on the battle for Champions League qualification after seeing third-placed Roma fight back to draw 1-1 against his team at the Stadio Olimpico late Saturday.

The Nerazzurri could have closed to within striking distance of Luciano Spalletti’s men but had to be content with only a point.

Mancini said: “Everything is still open, we have eight games (left) and the road is very long.

“If we win them all, then I am sure we can get into third place and will play for the podium until the end.”

Mou signed United pre-contract – report

Jose Mourinho signed a pre-contract in February to take over as manager of Manchester United in place of Louis van Gaal at the end of the season, Spanish newspaper El Pais reported yesterday.

Former Chelsea, Real Madrid and Inter coach Mourinho has been persistently linked in the media with the Old Trafford job since departing Stamford Bridge for the second time in December.

Under the terms of the agreement, the report said, Manchester United would have to pay Mourinho five million pounds if they did not offer him a full contract by May 1 and another 10 million pounds if they failed to give him the job by June 1.

Dutchman Van Gaal signed a three-year contract in May 2014 but is not expected to see out the deal with fans unhappy with the style of play.
