A foreigner was found dead in the vicinity of Ta' Liesse Hill in Valletta yesterday afternoon. The police suspect the cause of death may have been a drug overdose.

In a statement, the police said that objects related to drug use were found near the dead man.

A post mortem examination is to be held tomorrow morning to determine the cause of death.

Magistrate Abigail Lofaro held an inquiry and appointed a team of court experts to report on the man's death.
