A Swedish man was rescued by the volunteers of the Gozo-based  E.R.R.C. rescue corps yesterday when he hurt himself while jumping off Cominotto.

The incident happened at about 4.45 p.m.

The man, who is in his twenties, was ferried to Mgarr in the corps hydro ambulance. An ambulance from the Gozo General Hospital was waiting at Mgarr Harbour.
