Former Floriana FC player Pullu Demanuele, more popularly known as il-Koku (third from left), was recently the guest of honour at the Floriana FC nursery. Each year the committee honours a former Floriana FC player, one who gave a sterling contribution to the club. This year it was Demanuele's turn. Considered as one of the most skilful players of all time, Demanuele, now 73, was a member of the famous Ajax side. He was presented with gifts during a social gathering by his two young grandchildren, Alain and Brooke, who play for Floriana. Present for the occasion were nursery officials and Floriana FC president Hugh Peralta.
