A dissemination seminar, part of a FP6 project INCLUD-ED, is targeted for education policymakers, education researchers, teachers, career guidance, as well as key players and entities interested in the promotion of social cohesion through education in Malta and across Europe. March 4 The impact of globalisation on structural change and employment
The conference, organised by the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working conditions and the European Parliament, will discuss globalisation, the state of play of managing change and facing globalisation, the role of institutional and public actors and emerging new trends and scenarios for globalisation. VladimÃr Å pidla, Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities, European Commission will deliver the closing address at the conference. Event will be held at the European Parliament in Brussels.

This event organised by the research institute for managing sustainability at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, will focus on the institutional aspects of sustainable development evaluations as policy learning processes. The seminar will focus on institutional aspects of sustainable development evaluations, policy learning and sustainable development evaluations, methodological challenges and innovation with regard to sustainable development evaluations. March 26 Financial markets seminar
The European Journalism Centre is organising, in cooperation with DG Economic and Financial Affairs of the European Commission, a one-day information briefing for financial journalists coming from the eurozone as well as from the opt-out member states. The briefing will mainly focus on forecasts, surveys and fiscal surveillance. Event will be held in Frankfurt.

The ninth workshop of the Euro Area Business Cycle network (EABCN), hosted by the University of Cambridge, will discuss methodological issues such as the aggregation of data from across the eurozone, and the use of real-time data and the impacts these can have on economic analysis.

The event will gather know-how from European and international port and academic experts on the strategies and tools port managers have at their disposal to respond to these challenges. Particular focus will be on the use of concessions as governance tools. The two-day conference will conclude with an update on the European Commission's new ports policy by Matthias Ruete, director general of DG TREN.
