Four out of five patients cast their vote

Of the 1,143 registered voters, 956 voted

Around four out of every five eligible patients voted on Thursday.

On Thursday, it was the turn of patients at Mater Dei Hospital, Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, Mount Carmel and Gozo General Hospital to cast their votes.

The Electoral Commission said that of the 1,143 registered voters, 956 - or 83.64% - voted.
