There are four development applications for high rise buildings pending before the Environment and Planning Authority, Home Affairs Minister Tonio Borg told parliament yesterday.

He said high rise buildings were defined as buildings of 20 storeys and higher. He said the applications involved sites in Blata l-Bajda, Gzira, Qawra and Mriehel.

He was replying to a parliamentary question by Labour MP Charles Buhagiar.
