The IRMCC circuit at Pembroke was wet but drying fast as competitors started assembling for the fourth round of the National Championships for electric on-road cars held recently. The championships, which started last month, consist of 15 rounds. Thirty drivers competed in the fourth round.

In the Modified Class A (expert), Josh Anastasi kept a clean sheet, winning the fourth round with seemingly even more ease than he had won the previous three.

He was again driving his Associated TC3 and now leads the class by eight points. Second again, for the fourth time was Hayden Sciberras, also driving a TC3.

In the Stock Motor Class for B drivers, Joe Anastasi, driving his John Bull Racing Yokomo MR4 Special, this time got the better of TC3 driver Noel Agius, to move back to the top of the standings.

The beginners' Class C again saw Walter Cassar powering to another decisive win with his X-Ray. He is joint first place in the standings with Godwin Sciberras.

The John Bull Racing Challenge, a strictly controlled class in which all cars use identical equipment, saw Alan Curmi taking another win with his Schumacher SST. He joined Josef Agius at the top of the standings.

The next meeting takes place in Gozo on December 1.
