Four people were injured in three accidents between yesterday evening and this morning, the police said.
A 17-year-old girl was slightly injured when she was hit by a car in the Ghaxaq By-Pass at around 8.30pm yesterday.
The girl, who is from Ghaxaq, was hit by a car that was being driven by a 24-year-old man from Ghaxaq.
Another two people were injured in another accident at 3.15am. The police said a 58-year-old man was driving in Triq il-Qrendi towards Zurrieq when he crashed into the wall of a residence.
The driver was slightly injured while his passenger, a 67-year-old man, suffered grievous injuries.
A 28-year-old man from Fgura was grievously injured in another accident at 4.45am when he lost control of his car and ended up between a barrier and a rubble wall in Triq il-Buqana, Rabat.
