Free entry to heritage sites

Din l-Art Helwa will be opening a number of its heritage sites to the public free of charge next Sunday on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of its foundation. The sites are the 17th century coastal towers of Dwejra Tower, Gozo, between 9.30 a.m.

Din l-Art Helwa will be opening a number of its heritage sites to the public free of charge next Sunday on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of its foundation.

The sites are the 17th century coastal towers of Dwejra Tower, Gozo, between 9.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. and 2 to 4 p.m.; the Red Tower, at Mellieha Bay, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; the Wignacourt Tower at St Paul's Bay between 9.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. and 2 to 4 p.m.; Saint Roque church, Zebbug from 3.30 to 5 p.m.; Bir Miftuh chapel outside Luqa Airport from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 3 to 5 p.m.

The Msida Garden of Rest with its spectacular view over Marsamxett Harbour and its Museum of Maltese Burial Heritage will be open from 9.30 a.m. to noon and 2 to 4 p.m.
