Free ride to trade fair

The Trade Fairs Corporation is offering a free park and ride scheme for the duration of the fair, making it easier for visitors to get to the Trade Fair grounds in Naxxar.

The scheme is also an attempt to reduce the inconvenience suffered by Naxxar residents living nearby, the corporation said.

Free transport to the fair, using coaches, is being offered from the Targa Gap roundabout in Mosta every day between 5.30 p.m. and 11.30 p.m., on a regular time-table.

Visitors can also hop on the coaches at specific points after parking their cars along id-Difiza Civili and il-Fortizza streets.

The corporation said the scheme had worked to a satisfactory level in the first few days of the fair and recommended that the public make better use of it.
