I refer to the letter Déjà Vu by Joe Aquilina St John (April 22).

The Water Services Corporation wishes to point out that when a customer phones on its freephone service (8007 2357), the caller will hear the following message: "Hello, ghadhek kif qbadt mal-Customer Care tal-Korporazzjoni ghas-Servizzi ta' l-Ilma. If you want to hear the message in English, please press 8. You have reached the Customer Care of the Water Services Corporation. If you want to discuss a technical issue, please press 1. To discuss issues related to the bill, please press 2. You are reminded to spot any abnormal water and electricity consumption by regularly checking the meter reading".

This new pre-recorded voice message has been in place for at least two months.
