Dr Lawrence Seychell from the Department of French was a guest lecturer at the Sorbonne University Paris IVe to lecture on the notion of error in intercultural aspect of language teaching (particularly with reference to French as a foreign language in Malta) earlier this month.

This lecture, intended for French students in their last year of their M.A. degree course, was also attended by Dr Joseph Licari, Malta's representative to UNESCO.

As a follow-up of this lecture, Dr Seychell is expected to examine students in French as a foreign language, followed by a written examination in April.
