The French Navy vessel La Motte-Picquet is visiting Malta between Friday and Monday, and again from September 28 to October 1.

The 139-metre vessel is an F70 anti-submarine frigate, and has been under the command of Captain Emmanuel Carlier since November 2000. She carries a crew of 234 including 21 officers.

The vessel will not be open to the public.
