Brice Hortefeux, French Minister for Immigration, Integration, National Identity and Development Partnership, is in Malta for talks as France prepares to assume the EU presidency from the middle of the year. He is explaining the priorities of the presidency relating to immigration and the French proposal for a European Pact on Immigration and Asylum. His visit will include talks with Foreign Minister Tonio Borg and Justice and Home Affairs Minister Carm Mifsud Bonnici.
